Roll dice online
Choose how many dice you want — from 1 to 10 — and the type: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or the classic twenty-sided d20. Press Roll or hit Space and the dice tumble for a moment before landing. Each die shows its value, and the total appears in large type underneath. Your last ten rolls stay visible in the history while the page is open.
Need to re-roll just some of the dice? Click any die to keep it — kept dice are marked and stay put on the next roll, exactly like holding dice in Yahtzee. Click again to release it back into the roll.
The dice are drawn as clean vector shapes, with real pips on six-sided dice and clear numerals on the rest, so the result is easy to read from the back of a classroom in fullscreen mode. Every roll is decided before the tumble animation starts, using crypto.getRandomValues, so each face is exactly equally likely — fairer than most physical dice, which are rarely perfectly balanced.
