Secret Santa for remote teams — draw online, post the gifts
Paste the names, draw, and send everyone their own private link. Each person adds a wishlist and a hint for delivery, so gifts can be posted or sent as vouchers. You see who has opened; you never see who drew whom.
1. Your group
We only use email addresses to send the links.
2. Participants
Optional: add an email after a name and we send that person their link right after the draw. Example: Nora, nora@mail.com — or paste two columns from a spreadsheet.
We only use email addresses to send the links.
0 participants (0 with email) · At least 3 names. You can add yourself too.
3. Who should not draw each other (optional)
For couples, siblings, or people who always end up with each other.
4. How to share the links
I will share the links myself
You get one private link per person to send on WhatsApp, Messenger or anywhere else. No email addresses needed.
Tip: add an email after each name in step 2 and we'll send the links for you.
The remote problem is logistics, not the draw
Drawing names is the easy part. The hard part is that nobody knows the home address of the colleague in another city, and half the team wants a gift card anyway. Fluky gives every participant a private link where they can write a wishlist and a short note like “posting is fine, I'm in Lisbon” or “prefer a voucher”. Their Secret Santa sees that note; nobody else does.
Sending the links
For remote teams, email is usually easiest: add an email after each name and we send the links for you, with a reminder two days later to anyone who hasn't opened. No emails handy? Copy a ready-made message for Slack or Microsoft Teams, or send the links one by one in chat.
Time zones, budget and deadlines
Set the exchange date and a budget, and they appear on every link. Because the reveal happens on a video call, set the date a week after the posting deadline so parcels have time to arrive. The organizer page shows who has opened their link, so you can chase quietly before the call.
Who shouldn't draw whom
Mark pairs who shouldn't draw each other — people on the same two-person team, or those who already exchange gifts. Add a latecomer without redrawing, and delete the group when it's done.
FAQ
- How do people share an address without the whole team seeing it?
- Each participant writes it in the note on their own link. Only the person who drew them sees it.
- Can we do the reveal on a video call?
- Yes. Everyone opens their gift on the call and guesses who sent it — the draw stays secret until then unless people choose to say.
- Does it work across countries?
- Yes. Links open in any browser. Pages are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech and Traditional Chinese.
- Can I see who drew whom?
- No. Only each participant sees their own result.
- What do you store?
- The names, any emails you add, and the wishlists people write. Everything deletes 60 days after the event date, or earlier if you delete the group.
