Secret Santa in Microsoft Teams — no add-in needed

Type the names, draw, and copy a message formatted for Teams with one private link per colleague. Post it in the channel or send the links one by one in chat. Nobody sees the draw — not even you.

1. Your group

2. Participants

Optional: add an email after a name and we send that person their link right after the draw. Example: Nora, nora@mail.com — or paste two columns from a spreadsheet.

We only use email addresses to send the links.

0 participants (0 with email) · At least 3 names. You can add yourself too.

3. Who should not draw each other (optional)

For couples, siblings, or people who always end up with each other.

4. How to share the links

I will share the links myself

You get one private link per person to send on WhatsApp, Messenger or anywhere else. No email addresses needed.

Tip: add an email after each name in step 2 and we'll send the links for you.

How it works in Teams

After the draw, the organizer page has a button called “Copy for Teams”. It copies every link as one message, one line per person, formatted so it pastes cleanly into a channel or a group chat:

🎁 Team Secret Santa: Priya → fluky.com/ss/…

🎁 Team Secret Santa: Jonas → fluky.com/ss/…

Each line starts with the name, so everyone knows which link is theirs. A link only ever shows that person's own result, never the whole draw. For a private-minded team, copy the links one by one and send them in 1:1 chats instead — the page keeps a “Send” and “Copy link” button next to every name.

Why not a Teams app or add-in

Most workplaces can't install add-ins without IT approval, and nobody wants to ask IT for a Secret Santa. Fluky is just a web page: links open in the browser, on a work laptop or a phone, with no login. Nothing is installed and your admin never has to hear about it.

What the organizer sees

A private organizer page that shows who has opened their link, so you can nudge the two people who haven't without asking in the channel. Each unopened name has a “Remind” button that prepares a short message with only that person's link. You can add a latecomer without redrawing, and delete the group when the party is over. What you never see is who drew whom — so you can take part yourself.

Hybrid and remote teams

Set a budget and the exchange date, and mark pairs who shouldn't draw each other — people who already exchange gifts, or last year's pairs. Everything shows on each person's link. If part of the team is remote, each person can add a wishlist with a delivery hint so gifts can be posted.

FAQ

Does it work in Teams on the phone?
Yes. The message pastes into the Teams mobile app like any other text, and the links open in the phone browser.
Can I see who drew whom?
No. Not you, not us, from any page. Only each participant sees their own result.
Our company blocks unknown sites. Will the links open?
Fluky is a normal public website over https with no login and no downloads, so it works on almost all corporate networks. If your network blocks it, send the links to personal phones instead.
Can I use email for some people and Teams for others?
Yes. Add an email after a name in the participant list and we send that person's link by email; everyone else gets theirs through Teams.
What do you store?
The names you type and, if they fill one in, each person's wishlist. Everything deletes 60 days after the event date, or earlier if you delete the group.
